Fletcher Prentice has been producing English hand
painted bone china since 1990. He has worked with individual clients
on one-off commissions, and
has developed designs for industrial production with clients including
an entire hand painted dinner service for LSA, picnic ware for Cole
and Mason and a themed
range of mugs for MclagganSmith. He has also developed a number of
ranges under his own label for wholesale throughout England working
either by developing line work which is turned into transfers, or
freehand, painting each item of china individually. These traditional
methods, using onglaze enamels, have been used to decorate bone china
for centuries.
